The University of Adelaide Wireless Network

A free convenient alternative to the University wired network. Students and staff can connect personal computers to the wireless network and access the intranet, email, online education and the Internet. External Internet traffic downloaded over this service will be charged against your internet traffic quota.

The eduroam wireless network enables wireless access for staff and students travelling to other universities or if you are a visitor to The University of Adelaide. The eduroam site has more information on how this can benefit you.

Usage Rules

Users of the service are subject to the rules and regulations as defined in the University IT Acceptable Use Policy (A PDF reader is required).

Safety of Wireless

There are no known safety issues with the wireless equipment used by The University of Adelaide. More information is available in the wireless FAQ.
